Students Receive $1,500 Grant for Advanced Manufacturing Training from Gene Haas Foundation

On May 9th, students were awarded a $1,500 grant by the Gene Haas Foundation to subsidize the cost of training on computerized (CNC) manufacturing systems. Five students attended the Haas Demo Day on May 9th to receive the scholarship check and to see the newest advanced manufacturing systems from Haas. The primary mission of the Gene Haas foundation is to provide scholarship funding for students to attend colleges and trade schools that teach CNC machining-based skills.
