Alumni Spotlight: Julian Baysmore ’24

West Catholic Prep is proud to spotlight Julian Baysmore ’24, who continues to make his mark beyond the halls of West!

Julian is currently a junior at North Carolina A&T State University, where he is majoring in Mass Communication with a concentration in Journalism. His passion for communications and sports recently led to an exciting professional opportunity at the 2026 NBA G League and NBA Combine in Chicago, where he served as a Staff Attendant. Through the NBA x HBCU partnership, Julian gained valuable hands-on experience, built professional connections, and had the opportunity to witness some of basketball’s next generation of talent up close.

“This experience continues to motivate me as I grow professionally and represent the HBCU community on a national stage,” Julian shared.

We are proud to see Julian taking advantage of opportunities that allow him to grow, learn, and represent the West Catholic Prep community. Once a Burr, always a Burr! Congratulations, Julian! We look forward to seeing where your journey takes you next.
