Faculty Spotlight Ms. Pestorius

Our faculty spotlight this month is Ms. Pestorius. Ms. Pestorius started as our new engineering teacher at the beginning

of this academic year. Graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art, and majoring in sculptures, she worked in custom fabrications and as an Art teacher before coming to West Catholic Prep. Ms. Pestorius came with a lot of new ideas and goals for this program. 

“My goal with this class is to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and provide our students with the tools they need to pursue careers in STEM fields,” Ms. Pestorius continues. “With hands-on opportunities to work with real technologies, our students will be better prepared for post-graduation success, whether they continue their education in engineering or enter the workforce directly.”

We are so grateful to Ms. Pestorius for all her hard work and dedication. We are thankful to have her apart of our school community.
