My college major is… Biology and psychology.
When people ask me what I love most about college, I say… The sense of community and the fact that professors never hesitate to go out of their way to make accommodations for you if you need them.
The thing I miss most about West Catholic is… The bonds formulated over the years with people I’ll never forget because West Catholic was my home away from home, and I’ll always remember family at 4501 Chestnut St. West Catholic has been there for me when I’ve needed it and has always been a place where I’ve known that I could find people who would support and not only teach me but also guide me. I believe that I would not be in the position that I am in today without the people that I have encountered at West Catholic.
My favorite West Catholic tradition is…. My favorite West Catholic tradition is Field Day, with each grade level filling the parking lot with games and their respective T-shirts. Faculty members sometimes even got in on the fun.
The biggest difference between West Catholic and any other school is… The faculty and staff really care, and the slogan of being a family isn’t just a gimmick, it’s true.
My favorite subject to study when I was in high school was… Science.
The piece of advice I would give to current West Catholic students is… Learn as much as you can while you’re at West. Graduation will be here before you know it!
The West Catholic faculty or staff member that had the greatest impact on me was… Sr. Ave, she was always there for me. I was the only girl in her principles of writing class freshman year, and she helped me to become the writer I am today. Sr Ave proofread all 10 of my essays for the Gates Millennium Scholarship, which I was eventually awarded!
Something most people don’t know about me is… I can really cook.
Something I don’t leave the house without is… My lip balm and ice breaker mints.
On the weekends I enjoy… On the weekends, I enjoy attending Villanova basketball games or spending time with my friends.
