Class of 2021 earns $21,867,798 in scholarships!

In this unprecedented year we are especially proud to announce the graduation of the West Catholic Preparatory High School class of 2021.  The class of 2021 has earned more than $21,000,000 in college scholarships.  Our students are going on to a variety of impressive pursuits next year, including attending schools like Villanova, Pepperdine, and Spelman. Others of our students will continue their journey in the armed forces or at trade school.  This class persevered through a year of hybrid learning that challenged all of us, but they did not allow it to hinder their plans to go out into the world and make it a better place.

In his commencement address, President Brady ’02 shared this Maya Angelou quote: “Stand up straight and realize who you are, that you tower over your circumstances. You are a child of God. Stand up straight.” Below are some highlights of the achievements of those in this class who have decided on their college and career plans for next year, as detailed at the time of our Senior Slideshow. Best of luck to our graduates, and keep towering over your circumstances!

176 – Number of colleges to which our graduates were accepted
37 – Number of different colleges our graduates are attending
5 – Number of graduates attending trade schools or enlisting in the armed services
