Mrs. Adriane Medford, the Academic Support Coordinator, will be running the after school tutoring program on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm in the new DeLaSalle Academic Support Center.  Volunteer teachers as well as students who are members of the NHS will be available for support and tutoring needs.

Parents/Guardian can access student’s grades and progress 24 hours a day through PowerSchool. In August an email is sent to each parent inviting them to PowerSchool.  You can log in here.  If you are unsure of your login or password, click reset username and password.  If the email account we used to establish your account is no longer in use, please email mdeviney@westcatholic.org 

 

 

Aramark offers a convenient online lunch account management option through the web service here. PayForlt offers you a convenient way to make advanced payments, check your student’s account balance, and also monitor their purchases from your home,computer and/or mobile devices.

There are three easy steps to follow to get started:

Step 1: Signing up for an account with Pay For It. The School District for your school is The Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Where it asks for the Payment method, please choose either ACH-Archdiocese of Philadelphia, or CC/Debit Card-Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Step 2: After you have signed up for Pay For It, you will be sent a confirmation email. Go to the link in the email and enter the confirmation code to complete the setup of your account.

Step 3: Now that your account has been established, you can now add your child to your account. You will need to know your student’s Student ID # that is provided by the school to add them to your account.

Students are issued a Chromebook to use during the school year and for school assignments.  The Chromebook and the charger must be returned to the school at the end of the school year in working condition.  The student’s account will be charged for broken or missing technology. 

The school calendar is located on the school website here.  There is also a weekly E-Newsletter that is mailed to all parents.  If you are not receiving that E-Newsletter please contact the school at info@westcatholic.org to ask to be added to the email list.

Contact your child’s school district directly, districts are responsible to provide the same transportation service they provide students within their district.

Go to the Main Office and Mrs. Tammy Hayward will deactivate the lost card and issue a new card.

When a student is absent, parents/guardians are required to call or email the Attendance Office (215-386-6360 or epatrice@westcatholic.org) the morning of absence notifying the school that the student will not attend. A doctor’s note is required for any absence of 3 or more days.

Should a doctor/dentist appointment necessitate a late arrival, the student must present a certificate when he/she reports to school. Student is considered late if he/she is not present on time for Homeroom at 7:50am. In the event a student must be dismissed from school early for a serious reason, he/she must present a note from the parent/guardian requesting dismissal to the Attendance Office before homeroom.
