We are proud to announce the following five students in our junior class have been accepted into the University Of Pennsylvania Pipeline Program: (L to R) Sebleh Alfa, Myanah Martin, Elexys McDowell, December Murphy and Chong Pham.
The Pipeline Program is a two-year program offered by Penn to high school students. It’s a dual program where students will work part-time at the University of Pennsylvania Health System as a paid employee, while also taking college courses at Community College of Phila., which will count towards their credits when they’re off to college in two years. Essentially, they will have a semester or more of college credits before they step on campus. West Catholic is the only Archdiocesan School part of the Penn Pipeline program. Thanks to the University of Pennsylvania for having us as part of the program, and congratulations to the students!
